Grand Rapids Azucar Night Club security guard injured in shooting

Police are looking for two suspects following an early morning shooting that left a Azucar Night Club security guard injured.

Police were called to the nightclub at 645 South Division Avenue on reports of multiple gun shots being fired.

Police found a security guard from the business with a minor wounds to his lower body.

Police believe that an argument in the bar continued outside where the employee was shot. The victim was transported to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.

Officers shut down the area around the Division and Franklin Street as they conducted their investigation following the morning shooting. Police found several gun shell casings in a nearby parking lot.

Police were looking for two suspects who fled in a black Ford from the scene along Division.
