Bouncer at
Vogue nightclub knifed
COPS are
appealing for witnesses to come forward after a bouncer was
stabbed.
The
27-year-old doorman at Vogue nightclub on Old Kent Road,
Walworth, was stabbed in the arm inside the club on April 13 at
around 3.30am.
The bouncer was
knifed by one of a group of men who, according to Southwark
police, are thought to have been smoking inside the club.
DC Torsten
Mansson said he was working with the venue to catch the
bouncer’s attacker.
The suspect was
wearing a striped hooded jumper, a dark baseball cap and a thick
silver neck chain.
Police said he
was a 5ft 6ins tall light-skinned black man, with short black
hair.
He is thought to
be in his late teens or early 20s.
The bouncer was
hospitalised with non-life-threatening wounds.
- Anyone with any
information should call DC Mansson on 020 7232 6145.
