Officer Gabriel E. Dobkin reported he was assisting with a traffic stop on Arlington Police vehicle with lightsRoad near University Boulevard about 1 a.m. when he was approached by Derrick Crockett, a security guard at the nightclub.

Crockett said that after he had refused to allow someone into the club, the person stuck a gun in his face.

Dobkin said when he arrived at the nightclub, the man tried to duck inside a beauty salon next door. He was helped by a 17-year-old girl, who helped him bar the salon's door to keep Dobkin out.
