One person is dead
and another is in serious condition after a group was escorted
from Plan B nightclub in downtown Detroit last night for causing
a disturbance, according to a Detroit Police spokeswoman.
Three nightclub
bouncers lead the group out of the club around 11:45 p.m. when
one person fired a shot at the bouncer, striking him in the
back, according to police. The other two bouncers fired back at
the man, killing him.
The group of
individuals kicked out of the club fled the scene, police said.
The two bouncers who
fired their weapons are under arrest. The prosecutor had yet to
determine charges, a Detroit Police spokeswoman said early this
afternoon. The third bouncer is in the hospital in
temporary-serious condition.
Police are not
searching for the individuals that fled because they did not
fire any weapons, police said.
