Two men who
allegedly assaulted a Gold Coast nightclub bouncer have been
charged with possessing a dangerous drug.
Gold Coast police
said the men, aged 23 and 28, were detained by security at a
Surfers Paradise nightclub on Saturday night after they
allegedly assaulted a bouncer.
Police searched
the two men and located a clip seal bag allegedly containing a
quantity of ecstasy tablets.
Both men also
were charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and are due to
appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on July 14.
