Nightclub tightens up security
after shootings
Seattle homicide
detectives are investigating a fatal shooting at a Capitol Hill
nightclub, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.
Maurice
Allen, 25, was shot and killed early Sunday outside the Baltic
Room in the 1200 block of Pine Street.
The victim was taken
to Harborview Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives spent the
early morning hours looking for clues at the scene. Police said
there are no suspects in the case.
A witness told KIRO
he saw someone arguing with a bouncer outside the club and then
heard gunshots.
The killing follows
the New Year’s Eve slaying of Shannon Harps, which also took
place on the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
