Efforts to make
Downtown Greenville safer had some workers in the classroom.
Bouncers
took their first steps Tuesday night to provide better
security.
A training
session conducted by the Greenville Police Department was
held for city bouncers.
Trainer Bill
Little provided the bouncers with better ways to handle
dangerous situations.
Over 150
bouncers have passed the training class since the bouncer
training ordinance took effect on may first.

works at two different night clubs says he's learned a lot.
The Greenville
Police Department will continue to hold bouncer training
sessions once every 30 to 45 days for new hires.
Bars and club
who do not comply with the new ordinance could face fines up
to 500 dollars.
