A Sauk Rapids woman assaulted a bouncer, a police officer and jail staff earlier this morning, according to St. Cloud Police.

Police said they were called to the Press Bar & Parlor in downtown St. Cloud at about 1:15 a.m. where Amanda Leeann Aery, 26, was accused of assaulting a bouncer.

As officers attempted to arrest Aery, she bit one of them in the hand and was taken to Stearns County Jail.

Aery became assaultive toward jail staff and spit in a correctional officer’s face, according to police.

Aery is expected to be charged with fourth-degree assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process.
