A Surfside Beach woman told police she was assaulted while dancing at a Myrtle Beach area night club, according to a police report.

The 21-year-old woman told police she was kicked twice by a woman while she was dance at 12:30 a.m. Saturday inside Club Exception at 721 N. Ocean Blvd., police said. The woman said another woman then grabbed her by her hair, pulled her to the floor and punched her.

The woman said security separated the women and the woman suffered a cut on her chin and scratches on her neck and arm, according to the report. The woman said she knew the women who assaulted her and they had words in the past.
