10 security guards injured in Vic nightclub brawl

More than a dozen people have been injured in a brawl at a nightclub in the Melbourne suburb of Southbank.

Police say a fight broke out when a woman was asked to leave the club in Queensbridge Street, about 1:30am AEDT.

They say about 30 people attacked the venue's security guards.

Police say 10 security guards and three patrons have minor injuries.

The club had to be shut down. No-one has been arrested.
