Police Name Man Killed By Officer At Nightclub

BALTIMORE Authorities have released the name of the Baltimore gunman who was shot and killed by a city police officer
early Thursday morning outside a nightclub in the city's Brooklyn section.

It happened about 1:45 a.m. after 23-year-old Quinton Monroe was ejected from Club Mate and Lounge by a bouncer.

According to police, a bouncer saw Monroe get a handgun from his car and told an officer working at the club as a security guard. Police say Monroe drew his gun in a confrontation with the officer and a second officer shot Monroe several times.
