A 21 year old man from Asturias who
was living on Tenerife has died in the early hours of Saturday
after spending two days in a coma.
He entered the coma after being beaten up outside the O’Reilly's
pub in Torviscas on the south of the island.
The father of the youth, Manuel Abad, has complained that the
judge has allowed the alleged attacker to be released from
custody.
He said his son Endika Abad, got into an argument with a tourist
and after that he was beaten by the bouncer at the pub until he
was ‘unconscious on the ground’.
La Opinión de Tenerife reports that witnesses say the bouncer
was hitting not just the victim but also his friends, with two
of them also receiving important injuries.
