Seattle Police says a 3-year-old boy found in
a parking lot while his mom was at a nearby nightclub early on
Mother's Day has been taken into protective custody.
A passer-by noticed the toddler early
Sunday and brought him to security at the Trinity nightclub, in
Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood.
A police report says the boy's mother had
left him in a parked station wagon. He was able to show police
and firefighters the car, with one unlocked door, and retrieved
his blanket before firefighters placed him with Child Protective
Services. He remains in protective custody today.
